Next week the Emerald Coast will celebrate boating from San Destin to Pensacola with their 23rd Annual Poker Boat Run! Participants will stop at checkpoints along the boating route, drawing a playing card at each one. The objective is to have the best poker hand at the end of the run and to have fun! There are also two grand prizes that every participant is eligible to win: a 2015 Ford F-150 and a 2015 Harley-Davidson Street Glide. Motorists of all kinds have reason to get excited for this activity-filled week! The events last from August 18, 2015 - August 23, 2015.
Events will be taking place off the water as well. It kicks off with Ladies Night Luau at Helen Back on Wednesday, August 19th. Thursday hosts the Miss Boat Week Bikini Contest at the Swamp, and on Friday the Captains Party will be held at AJ’s Seafood and Oyster Bar.
