The worlds’ first and only showcase of original art projection, Digital Graffiti returns to Alys Beach this weekend. While many underground artists have been projecting their work onto walls, skyscrapers, and buildings for years, Digital Graffiti is the first organized exhibition of this exciting art movement. During the interactive event, the artists’ work will be projected onto the iconic white walls of the town for everyone to see, celebrate, and in some cases, play with. This year, there are 23 finalists, as well as entertainment from Lesley Vaugh, an LA based aerialist, A Lite Brite Jumbo in Central Park, and the musical stylings of DJ Whizz Kid. The event begins with the more casual “Gallery Stroll†Friday evening. Intended for serious art aficionados or people looking for a more intimate and laid back experience, The Gallery Stroll allows attendees to explore the exhibits and discuss the work with the artists. The party really starts Saturday night with VIE Magazine’s Meet VIE At the Red Carpet event, from 6:00-8:30. The official Digital Graffiti exhibit and showcase opens at 8:30 Saturday evening. There will be plenty of food, beverages, and fun available throughout the evening. The event ends with the highly anticipated party at the beautiful Caliza Pool. Digital Graffiti is an event unlike any other in the Southeast. Tickets are going fast, so be sure to get yours online, or at Fonville Press in Alys Beach, Yolo Board in Miramar Beach, or at the box office.  Watch the "What is Digital Graffiti Vimeo video from Alys Beach! You Might Also Like: Win a 5 Night Dream Vacation Facebook Giveaway!
