30A was actually the first county road to be designated as an official scenic highway by the state of Florida. While it stretches just under thirty miles, the area has captured the hearts of so many travelers, making it a top vacation destination in the state.
2. 30A is made up of 16 distinct beach communities.

30A stretches from Dune Allen Beach to Inlet Beach and there are tons of unique beach neighborhoods in between. If you're a Jim Carrey fan, you probably remember the 1997 Blockbuster hit, The Truman Show. The directors of the movie wanted a picture-perfect town. The pastel-colored cottages and white picket fences made Seaside, FL the perfect filming location for the movie.
