Whole Foods, a popular grocery store also serving prepared foods, opened a new location on April 20, 2016 in Destin, FL. The highly anticipated opening began with a bread-breaking ceremony and debuted the 35,500 square foot store to the public.
In a news release, president of Whole Food’s Florida Region Juan Nunez stated, “Knowing that Destin is a community rich in culture and food, surrounded by the beautiful Emerald Coast waters, we are looking forward to offering residents and visitors the highest quality food experience in town.”
Whole Foods is known for selling organic and high quality food that supports a healthy life style. They also provide prepared foods and outdoor seating in the sunshine where visitors can enjoy handmade pizza, fresh sandwiches, and to-go meals. Prepared foods also include a rotating hot bar, an organic salad bar, and cultural foods. Specialty selections including wine, cheese, and bakery items are a sure way to satisfy your taste buds.
