Haloween activities along the emerald coast's October, and that means Halloween festivities are in full swing along the Emerald Coast. From corn mazes and pumpkin patches, to haunted houses and parades, there is a "spooktacular" activity for everyone. Here is a round-up of some of the best:

The Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge hosts their 8th Annual Haunted House on the Destin Harbor Boardwalk, October 11-12, 18-19, 25-26, 31, November 1-2. Admission is $9.00 and is NOT recommended for small children.
HOWL-O-WEEN Pet Parade and Costume Contest benefitting Alaqua Animal Refuge on October 18.
The Destin Library hosts the annual Story Time Halloween Parade, October 23 at 9:30, for preschoolers 4 and younger.
Paddle Destin hosts the GREAT PUMPKIN PADDLE from 9:00-3:00 at Legendary Yacht Club. Prizes awarded for best costume, best carved pumpkin and more.
Rosemary Beach hosts the annual Harvest Market and Monstrous Halloween Celebration on October 26. There will be a craft fair, farmer's market, trick or treating, a pumpkin carving contest, hayrides, and more Halloween-inspired fun.
Trick or Treat and do some shopping at Silver Sands "˜Trick Or Treat Off The Street" from 10:00 am-9:00pm, October 31, or at Destin Commons on October 26th from 4:00-6:00.
Topsail Hill Preserve and State Park hosts the annual Fall Festival, October 25-26. Activities include a haunted tram ride, games, food, and music. Haunted Tram rides are NOT recommended for small children.
WaterColor celebrates fall the weekend of October 25th with the Scarecrow Lane celebration on Saturday, followed by the WaterColor Fall Festival on Sunday.
