Thanksgiving and Christmas are over, and just like that, 2018 is about to come to a close. The Emerald Coast goes all out for New Year's in Destin, and here are a few of the main events if you're wondering where to celebrate.
1. The Village of Baytowne Wharf End of the Year Party

The Village of Baytowne Wharf is hosting a family-friendly New Year's Eve party. Dance the night away listening to live bands and enjoy a countdown and spectacular fireworks at both 8 pm and midnight. Grab delicious dinner at one of the local restaurants, browse the boutiques, and start off 2019 the right way!
2. New Year's Eve Celebration at Cuvee Kitchen

Join Cuvee Kitchen on December 31st from 5 pm to 10 pm for a celebratory New Year's dinner complete with a Prix Fix menu and champagne. In addition, there will be live music by David Seering. Dinner reservations are required and tickets are $80 a person. Furthemore, after the dinner, the bar will open up to the public and a DJ will play the top hits from 2018 until 1 am.
3. New Year's Eve Masquerade Ball
Ring in the New Year at Pazzo Italiano for their masquerade ball. The event will feature live music by Joshua Paul Sirten, a four-course meal, complimentary champagne, and a photo booth. Dinner is $80 and $10 from every meal will benefit Sandcastle Kids. Overall, this is a fun festive event you don't want to miss.
4. New Year's Eve Street Party
HarborWalk Village is hosting the party of the year to ring in 2019. Head down to the Destin Harbor for live music, two firework shows, and a midnight ball drop. This is the perfect event for families, but all ages can enjoy musical performances by Flash Flood and Departure.
5. New Year's Eve Party at the Henderson

Celebrate a successful 2018 at Horizons. Dance the night away and enjoy complimentary champagne and incredible desserts. With music, dancing, dessert, and champagne, what more could you ask for in a New Year's in Destin bash? Admission is $45 a person and reservations are encouraged.
6. McGuire's New Year's Eve

For a laidback New Year's, stop by McGuire's Irish Pub from 9:30 and 1:45 am for their party. Not only will there be live entertainment from Shenanigans and Cormac McGuiness, but there will also be a free midnight champagne toast. To top it all off, one lucky guest will receive a $500 McGuire's Irish Pub gift card in the raffle.
7. Tailfins New Year's Eve Bash Weekend
Tailfins Ale House & Oyster Bar is hosting a New Years Bash Weekend starting on December 28th and ending January 2nd. Enjoy delicious food, great drinks, and live music performed by Just Cauz. In addition, you can even see the fireworks from the New Year's Eve Street Party from Tailfins on the 31st!
