Christmas is just days away and Winter Break is in full swing here in Destin. However, a beach trip in December is a little different than a beach trip in July, so we've made a list of the best things to do during a Destin Christmas Break. 1. Walk on the Beach

While it may be a little chillier than you're used to if you've only ever visited Destin in the summer, a walk on the beach is still a walk on the beach... even if you need a jacket. Enjoy the salty sea air, take in the beautiful views, and let your mind be at ease. As of now, the weather is predicted to be 64 degrees and sunny in Destin on Christmas Day, which is perfect for an afternoon walk on the beach.

If one thing is for sure, Destin goes all out for the holiday season. Check out the elaborate Christmas light displays at Destin Commons and Grand Boulevard while you're here. Drive along 30A to check out all the stunning decorations in each of the adorable beach towns. Overall, you'll find no shortage of Christmas cheer around the Emerald Coast.
3. Enjoy a Gourmet Dish

Destin also has an abundance of incredible gourmet restaurants, so don't forget to enjoy a delicious meal while you're in town. Whether you're looking for dinner with a view, a tasty dessert, a pet-friendly place, or Christmas dinner, Destin's got you covered. 4. Go Ice Skating

Believe it or not, you can actually go outdoor ice skating here. Head over to The Village of Baytowne Wharf to test your skating skills in on the skating rink. This is the perfect festive activity the whole family will enjoy. While you're there, check out all the adorable shops, boutiques, and restaurants in the area. Baytowne Wharf is the perfect place to visit to get into the holiday spirit. Additionally, on December 22nd, Baytowne Wharf is hosting a Winter Wonderland event complete with an ice slide and real snow!
5. Go on a Dolphin Cruise

While dolphin cruises aren't particularly festive, you just can't visit Destin without experiencing one. This is the perfect activity of people of all ages.
