Join The Forest Williams Band on September 20th for Sacred Heart Hospital of The Emerald Coast's Arts in Medicine "Backyard Boogie" Fundraiser. Spend the evening with one of the Emerald Coast's favorite and most energetic bands, the Forest Williams Band, in an effort to raise money for the hospital's Arts in Medicine Program. The Arts in Medicine Program integrates performing and visual arts into a clinical and therapeutic environment to promote both healing and community wellness. Numerous studies indicate arts and music promote healing and a speedy recovery. The Arts in Medicine program brings in musicians to perform and artists to decorate the common area and treatment rooms. Artists also plan to host art classes for patients and families. Williams' Backyard Boogie is an outdoor concert venue located in Santa Rosa Beach. This outdoor venue is family and kid friendly, and attendees are encouraged to bring chairs, picnics, and libations. All proceeds from the Backyard Boogie for the Arts will go towards funding the Arts in Medicine Program. Tickets are $30 in advance (available at the Sacred Heart Gift Shop) and $35 at the door. Williams' Backyard Boogie is located at 1921 Chat Holley Road in Santa Rosa Beach.
