In June, 2012, The City of Destin realized a long time dream when they completed and opened the Destin Boardwalk. This festive boardwalk includes plenty of lighting, seating, and the participation of Harbor Business from The Boat House to The Emerald Grande. On Sunday, November 17, the businesses located on the Boardwalk are hosting the first ever Artwalk On The BoardWalk, a family-friendly event that celebrates the arts and the artists found in Destin. Running the length of the Boardwalk, visitors can explore a variety of arts and crafts, including locally-made paintings, arts and crafts, clothing, photography, candles and jewelry and much more. The Artwalk on The Boardwalk is a great way to get a jump on your holiday shopping and support local businesses and artists. This free family-friendly event also offers face painting, letters to the military, a gift-wrapping station, and plenty of food and drink specials from restaurants located along the Boardwalk. Art Walk on The Boardwalk will run the third Sunday of every month, from 11:00 a.m."“ 4:00 p.m.
