While Watersound lies marvelously among the quiet dunes, it isn’t far from either Destin or Panama City should one desire a stroll into more busy grounds.  Shopping and dining opportunities in Destin are endless. Destin Commons and the Sliver Sands Mall are worth the 30 minute drive from Watersound, with Pier Park in Panama City even closer.  Watersound, being so close to both Destin and Panama City has other advantages. A new International airport is being completed in Panama City which will make access to your Watersound paradise even better should you ever have to leave.  But Watersound is a treasure.
