From October 5th through October 7th, you can come to the 40th annual Destin Seafood Festival on the Destin Harbor. There will be yummy seafood, arts and crafts for kids, and even fireworks. This is a super fun event for the entire family to attend, so you definitely don't want to miss it.
2. Destin Fishing Rodeo

Throughout the entire month of October, you can attend the Destin Fishing Rodeo from 10 am to 7 pm. This fishing tournament has been a local tradition since 1948. All ages are welcome to participate and weigh-ins are free and open to the public. Aside from fishing, there are also a ton of other activities happening throughout the tournament on the Destin Harbor.
3. Baytowne Wharf Beer Fest

If you love craft beer, then you'll definitely want to book a trip to Destin this fall. Baytowne Wharf is hosting its 11th Annual Beer Fest and you won't want to miss it. From October 12th through October 14th you can attend the best beer fest on the Emerald Coast and sample specialty, seasonal, and not-yet-released beers.
4. Beautiful Weather

While there are plenty of fun events happening in Destin in autumn, you can't forget the fact that Destin's fall weather is heavenly. If you're looking for a warm getaway with a nice cool breeze, you'll love Destin in the fall.
